This tool standardizes and cleans DSpace metadata CSV files prior to batch import operations. It automatically normalizes curly/smart quotes into standard ASCII quotes, converts double hyphens (--) into proper em dashes in designated textual metadata fields, and removes leading, trailing, and duplicated whitespace across all columns.
